ArchiCAD-conservation education effort and be a little more productive using favorites palette

In this tutorial you will learn how to ArchiCAD in the Favorites you can speed up your work, especially when you start a new project.

I am sure you are well aware of the eyedropper tool and how it can help you duplicate the settings element, and then apply them in your drawing-like object. Of course, there are no elements that are already, however, when you start a new project. It's easy to spend lots of time creating things as you need them. If you want to get your settings, Favorites, you will find very useful.

Open an existing project and go to the menu-palette-Favorites. The palette will be expanded with a basic text interface. You can find a list of the default Favorites in front of you. You can clear any unwanted Favorites by going to menu and then clicking the delete button in the upper right corner.

It's easy to save a bookmark, just select it and save it. Use the Save current selection from the context menu, to give it a name. The name is descriptive information to remember it more easily. You'll find the rename favorite command easily in the top right-hand menu in case you need it. Repeat selection and save the process with an additional wall and you'll quickly get a list of several types of standard wall in the "Favorites". They will be sorted alphabetically by name. You can find any design you've finished you can make useful parts later.

People are able to do it in 3 dimensions, if you can believe it! Moving your mouse to the window or door, must be selected in 3D. You can put the appropriate information in name. This will make it easy to select from a list of text.

Select windows as much as you like and download the new favorite. Suddenly they are all updated at the same time, saving you a lot of time.

Note that once you have placed in the elements by using a favorite, they are not associated with it. You can change the items as you like. Use Favorites will speed up the process of placing and modifying objects. They do not limit you in any way or prevent you from making changes.
